How to reset when you've had a DAY :(

Oh Mama,


I hear you. Sometimes you just have a an absolute sh*t of a day. From the moment your feet hit the floor the kids are fighting, you suddenly remember you ran out of milk last night, you have an early work meeting, one of the kids has decided to wee next to the toilet instead of in it and then the dog has tracked wet wee footprints through the house and when you look in the mirror you are greeted with a hormonal acne outbreak.


Ugh.


By the end of the day you are so tightly wound that even the slightest misstep by the kids has you screaming in frustration. How the heck do you get yourself back from the edge?


One of the best ways to move frustration, anger and more through and out of your body is to get moving!


  • Dance it out - whack on your favourite tunes and have a boogie
  • Get sweaty - go for a run or do an upbeat workout at home (there are many you can find on YouTube for free)
  • Tap it out - EFT or tapping involves tapping on specific parts of your body to release emotions (again, loads of helpful guides and info online)
  • Get silly with your kids - walk like a dinosaur, wriggle like a snake, crawl like an insect
