this usually isn't a motivation issue

When people feel stuck, they tend to blame motivation.
"I just need to push harder." "I need to get disciplined again."
Most of the time, that's not the real issue.
What's actually happening is directional overload.
Too many options. Too many internal debates. Too many possible next steps competing for attention.
When direction isn't clear, motivation just adds pressure.
Clarity comes first. Commitment comes second.
Once direction is obvious, action feels lighter — almost boring. That's usually a sign you're on the right track.
Tomorrow I'll explain how I help people turn that clarity into forward movement without forcing themselves.
Write down the one area where you're thinking the most and acting the least. Don't solve it. Just identify it.
