Sleeping in until 5 AM

Apr 14, 2026 12:01 pm

I slept in this Sunday and woke up at 5 AM.

Normally my baseline is 4 AM.

Grabbing an extra hour actually felt like a massive luxury.

It was not always like this.

Business, relationships, and family used to scatter my focus.

I bought the complicated fitness programs.

I tried forcing myself out of bed early to get them done.

The new schedule would hold for a couple of days.

Then the crash would happen and I would be back in bed until 8 AM.

Sometimes even later.

Discipline felt like a heavy burden.

Something requiring sheer willpower to maintain day after day.

That changed when I stripped the complexity out of my mornings.

I stopped trying to do a million different exercises and stopped letting the routine overwhelm me.

My focus became entirely clear.

Wake up and do just a few core movements.

Nothing fancy or overwhelming.

Just the fundamentals that build the proportions I always desired.

This simple routine tuned me into the core of my body.

It was what my physical health required.

I had always assumed progress needed to be more challenging.

When the workout became simple the discipline naturally followed.

It stopped being a daily battle against my own mind.

It became a spiritual rhythm.

The habit shifted from something I forced into who I am.

I am someone who is disciplined.

Sleeping until 5 AM feels like sleeping in now because my identity changed.

Small and meaningful actions repeated weekly drove the transformation.

I put these core exercises into a short book called “The 161 Ratio: 90 Days To Greek God Proportions Discipline and Presence” specifically for overcoming the skinny fat phase.

The pages outline the movements that build the right proportions.

No complex routines or massive time commitments required.

I've decided to make it available again to help you get ready for summer.

This framework is built on lived experience and practical application.

The book and the audio version is $14.

When you pick it up you will also see an option to add the movement series.

These are 10 exercise videos showing the form for the fundamentals.

So you can learn the mechanics and move forward without second guessing your execution.

I am leaving this open for a few more days.

If you want 5am to feel like sleeping in then this is for you.

You can get the book right here:
