Most clients who hire a Coach and pay by themselves are already highly committed, diligent and high-performers. . Sometimes all they need is a bit of clarity, a drop of encouragement and kind follow-up. That's enough for them to succeed. . Does that mean that you are a great Coach? When I observe coaching sessions as a mentor, I rarely witness coaches closing the session with a feedback request. . Yes, they will get a feedback from the mentor and they know about it, but there is no spontaneous habit. We can all understand how scary it is to get feedback!!! . Still, in coaching, when the Coach is asking for feedback, chances are the answer will be rather positive if not excellent. . Closing a coaching session by asking the client about feedback is usually heartwarming and comforting for the Coach. It also helps the Coachee to articulate the value she/he received, as well as the benefits of coaching which strengthen the relationship, both people's self-esteem and the chance that you will have a highly motivated coachee, thus better results. . And for the rare cases when the feedback is not so fantastic, what a precious opportunity to grow and adjust, what a great chance to improve and succeed! . Would you be ready to embrace this habit? . ❓What if... ❓ one of my Mentees was so disappointed spending a lot of time on social media and not getting any coaching clients from there . Digital marketing is an art in itself, not something we may guess, not something that was taught in your coaching training. . Would expect someone reading a few articles and a couple of Youtube videos on coaching to rocket his talents and coaching clients getting fantastic results? Probably not enough knowledge, practice and guidance.... . Same goes for digital marketing. Coaches needs to learn, practice and get guidance on that. .
