Inflammation: It’s Not All Bad (Until it is)
Jul 17, 2025 2:23 am
Happy Wednesday, !
Let’s talk about something that gets way oversimplified — but has a massive impact on how you feel every single day:
Inflammation.
We hear the word a LOT, right?
You’ve probably heard how it’s the root of almost every health issue out there…
From joint pain to digestive problems to stubborn weight gain, fatigue, and even heart disease!
Well, it also plays a role in balancing your hormones.
But no one explains what it REALLY means… or why it even matters.
Inflammation is actually your body’s natural way of protecting you!
Think about when you get a cut — the redness, swelling, warmth — that’s your immune system doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.
- It’s targeted.
- It has a purpose.
- And then it goes away.
Well, chronic stress can also cause inflammation in your body...
And the problem is that for a lot of high-performing women juggling work, kids, and fitness goals, that inflammation never fully turns off.
👉 That’s chronic, low-grade inflammation.
It builds up over time, so slowly you might not even notice it, and starts messing with everything from your digestion and sleep… to your mood, your energy, and even your hormones.
So if you’ve been feeling:
- Puffy or bloated for no obvious reason
- Tired even when you should feel rested
- Foggy or irritable
- Or your body is feeling “off” a lot
That might be inflammation talking.
And if you’ve been wondering why you’re doing all the “healthy things” but still feel bloated, burnt out, or stuck with your progress, this could be the missing piece.
The good news: We can do a lot to help your body chill out and calm that inflammation, without cutting out your favorite foods or living on green juice and supplements.
This month, we’re diving into the truth about inflammation:
→ What causes it
→ How to spot it
→ And most importantly, how to reduce it in a way that actually works for real people with busy lives and zero time for perfection.
I’m excited to be sharing this information with you because it can make a REAL DIFFERENCE not only in how you feel, but also in your long-term health.
👉 Quick Check-In: Take a few minutes today to think about any symptoms you’ve noticed lately — bloating, fatigue, irritability, brain fog, or even a feeling of being “off.”
Is there a pattern? That could be your body’s way of asking for a little more care. Stay tuned, because this month we’ll unpack exactly what you can do about it!
Keep up the good work,
