When it comes to protein, it’s at the top of many people’s go-to lists.
It’s lean, you can use it in lots of ways, and it’s one of the most widely available forms of animal protein on the market.
💪You probably already know that protein has tons of benefits for your body: it helps build muscle, strengthen bones, and can keep you feeling full and satisfied long after you finish eating.
But chicken also contains the amino acid tryptophan, which can boost your mood.

👉Chicken Breast vs. Thigh?
Both are great sources of lean protein … as long as you keep portion sizes in mind.
Chicken breast has LESS fat and calories (3 oz/85 g = 140 calories, 3 g total fat, 1 g of saturated fat).
Chicken thighs have MORE calories and fat (3 oz/85 g = 170 calories, 9 g total fat, 3 g saturated fat).
It’s not a huge difference, but it can add up fast if you’re not aware! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
