Hey Dragons!
Before I talk about everything going on with me, I want to hear from you. Do you read on Wattpad, RoyalRoad, or Webnovel? I right now have Wattpad and RoyalRoad for releasing Apothecary’s Price, but I would love to hear where you go for some of your free reads.
On The Desk
So much more writing this week than before. I did get stumped because my outline for Apothecary’s Price was a bit too barebones for my liking. I actually had to go back in because what I originally outlined would have made the chapter around 800 words versus the average of 2k words.
We also have some amazing freebies and other indie books to check out for the Summer Reading Challenge. Don’t forget to check those out!
Around The Desk
K-Dramas are starting to become my go-to shows again. I tried to pick back up with watching Walking Dead, but I just can’t get into it. Ever since they turned the prison into a commune, I’ve lost interest, but I forced myself to keep watching to get to the Glenn scene.
Instead, I’ve been watching the show A Korean Odyssey which is a really fun fantasy romance. The other is Sweet Home which I read the Webtoon for. It’s a horror series, so a complete 180 from the romance. Though one author I talked to did say the only difference between a horror and a romance is one tends to have more death in it.
On The Bookshelf
I just started reading a few books this week. One of them is the Stolen Goblin Bride. I read some of Emma Hamm’s other pieces so I am excited to try this one out. The other is Isra Sravenheart’s Dark Spell series. Both of them are fairly short reads compared to the other books so I will likely finish them by the end of the weekend.
Don’t forget to check out the books by some featured authors down below including a no-cost ebook book fair!
