I received a lot of positive feedback from the newsletter I sent and the new format, so looks like I will be keeping it this time around.
On The Desk
My website is almost ready. I came across a few discrepancies including some of my newer books not being set up on the website, and a few others linking to old editions.
I did get some writing done this week. Not a whole lot, but it was a chapter. Going to try and revise some earlier chapters as well for Apothecary’s Price to re-release them on Patreon.
We also have some amazing freebies and other indie books to check out for the Summer Reading Challenge. Don’t forget to check those out!
Around The Desk
I got a new grill last week and got to enjoy some turkey burgers fresh from the grill. With the nicer weather, I’m hoping to set up my fire pit and get some anti-mosquito stuff set up as well so I can sit outside with my dogs and read/write. If you have some plants that can help with that or some other stuff to help, I would love to hear it!
On The Bookshelf
Last time I mentioned I was working through Empress of all Seasons. On June 1st I finished. I'm working on writing up a few blog posts to cover the different books I've read these last few months so you can get my full thoughts. Thankfully, I started a book reading notebook to showcase my thoughts.
Hopefully, I can get through more than one book a month soon so I can have a "book of the month" as well. Right now my "favorite book for the month" has been the one I've finished.
