Hey Dragons!
I’m thinking of reorganizing my newsletter. I’m sure many of you like hearing about some of the more personal things going on, and some prefer to skip to the book-related news, so I’m going to try something different this week. Let me know your thoughts on the format!
On The Desk
Nothing too new to report writing-wise. Right now, I’m setting up how I want my stream to look for Facebook (see last week’s email for reference) and a few other miscellaneous things.
I did update my website a little too. It’s still in progress so I won’t share it just yet as I’m not done, but I am excited to showcase it to everyone. It’s super mobile-friendly now.
Around The Desk
I’ve been playing a lot of Final Fantasy 14 lately and honestly, it’s probably one of the weaker games in terms of providing new ideas for me to write about. I’m a big gamer, so video games tend to help me get ideas based on small segments. FF14 just hasn’t done that for me.
Last weekend and the weekend before, I spent a lot of time working on my yard and now it looks amazing. We even installed new bushes with some beautiful flowers. Right after we finished, our rose bush started to bloom and it’s always nice to stare at it in the morning while trying to wake up as it’s viewable from my dining room.
On The Bookshelf
I finished reading Shadow of the Fox and Best Served Cold recently. Both are fantastic books that help me get an idea of how I want to take my books. I’ve written my reviews on my iPad for my thoughts on them, so hopefully, I will record videos of my review on TikTok later.
The next book I’m reading is Prince of Thorns as well as Empress of all Seasons. After that, I’m working on Hail Mary. So we’ll see what I think of those soon enough.
Don’t forget to check out the books by some featured authors down below including a no-cost ebook book fair!
