Hey !
This week I took half the week off to refocus.
I'm glad I did because I’ve come to some great realisations.
It’s important to have peace in your heart.
When there is no war to fight.
So this little gem was my inspiration for this weeks email
Read time- about 90 seconds.
Enjoy!
KNOW WHEN TO BE PEACEFUL.
Have you ever heard of the saying don't sweat the small stuff? It's always been true. In addition to that even if we’re at war in some way it's always important to create peace within ourselves. In this clarity will be found, better decisions will be made we get an opportunity to create a better reality for ourselves. This also creates positive ripple effect for those closest to us.
TAKE AWAY- Be the calm sailing the boat in stormy seas.
KNOW WHEN IT’S TIME TO GO TO WAR.
We are so inclined to wage war against others. Weather it be through social media or in person. Family disputes, workplace conflict or a with complete stranger. The most important person to wage war on is ourselves. Often we don't want to face this because it can be quiet painful. it forces us to face the truth in all its glory. The person looking back at us in the mirror.
TAKE AWAY- We go to war with ourselves so relinquish the need to go to war with others.
OWN UP WHEN A MISTAKE IS MADE.
It doesn't matter if we’re right or wrong. It doesn't matter if we win or lose. What matters is how we carry ourselves during all of these. I make mistakes all the time. The biggest opportunity lays in the humbleness of admitting when I'm wrong. Why? Because if we’re right all the time we don't get a chance to learn anything new.
TAKE AWAY- There is nothing wrong with saying the words I was wrong and I'm sorry. It's having the humility to take responsibility.
BE A COOL HUMAN
