This week I got back into lifting heavy weights.


It made me realise how much I missed it.


I've also gotten heavily into acting as a way of expressing and exploring myself.


Why are both of these important to living your healthiest life possible?


Because it hits the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual that lie within us.


Realising our own human potential is what life is all about.


Which is essential for optimum health.


Today we’re going to dive into ways you can begin to maximise the elements required for overall health and performance.

HAVING LOW PERSONAL ENERGY CAN BE A RESULT OF LOW TESTOSTERONE.

After the age of 30 testosterone levels naturally decline. It's just as important for girls as it is for guys. It's the hormone responsible for driving a lot of our personal energy. Without a good dose of it flowing through us we won't have the energy to keep up with the demands of everyday life. Some people naturally have more of it. Some people naturally have less of it. If testosterone is too low extreme levels of fatigue can result. This is where the value of lifting heavy weights comes in. When heavy weights are incorporated into a program for someone with low testosterone there testosterone levels will naturally spike.


TAKE AWAY- Low levels of testosterone can play a big role if personal energy levels are low.


IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON.

Each individual has a different nature. Some are naturally assertive and sometimes aggressive. Some people naturally roll with the punches of life and adapt. Some people prefer structure and reliability. How could this relate to their training? A naturally aggressive and assertive person would need to lower their testosterone through their training so they don't end up killing people. The roll with it type and the reliable type need to elevate their testosterone so they don't become zombies.


TAKE AWAY- Some people need less testosterone and some need more.


PUT IT TO THE TEST AND SEE WHAT YOU RESPOND BEST TO.

If personal energy is too low then cardio is out. If personal energy is too high and the feeling of wanting to kill people is high then more cardio needs to be done. We all want to maximize our energy for whatever purpose we intend to use it for. So find the way to get that happy medium. Go by the simple personal energy rule. Either personal energy needs to be elevated or lowered. It's all evident in an individuals behaviour.
