The gyms are open again and nearly back to normal.


So it’s time to get the ball rolling again with these 10 HOT TIPS TO KICK BUTT IN THE GYM AFTER COVID.


Nutrition always comes first.

Ever heard the saying 6 packs are made in the kitchen?


Training in the gym creates the opportunity for change.

Training opens the window for change. So make sure you do the right things before that window closes.


Change will be determined by the habits you have outside of your training.

Training is something that only takes up 5% of your week. What you do with the other 95% will determine your results.


Start slow.

Its very easy to jump in head first after not training for a while. Take your time.


Build momentum.

We don’t want to start out fast and slow down. We want to start out slow to build the momentum up to a point where it becomes like a runaway freight train.


Use 3-5 exercises per program that give you a big bang for your buck.

Big compound weight training exercises are the way to go. What do I mean by compound weight training exercises? Exercises that use a lot of muscle in the one weight training lift.


Base all of your programs around building muscle.

The more muscle you have the more fat gets burned. It’s that simple.


Keep weight training workouts under an hour.

Any more than a hour on the weights means decreasing your chances of getting results.


Keep cardio workouts under 20 minutes.

Short, sharp and intense to the point of becoming a hot, sweaty mess.
