4th edition of maximum Monday.

Hey

My right arm has been stopping me from doing pull ups and chin ups this past week so I've made the switch to calisthenics training to change the way I move my body to create more balance within it.

Kind of a good metaphor for life hey?

Sometimes we need to switch things up to create more balance within our life.

So these events have sparked the inspiration for this weeks maximum Monday.

Enjoy!

Balance the scale, Break comfort zones, Embrace what we know and Pull the arrow back.

Read time- about 90 seconds

BALANCE THE SCALE

you cant have sunrise without sunset. You can't have light without darkness. you can't have work without rest and you can't have night without day. The first key to balancing the scale is becoming clear on what to achieve each day. What work needs to be done? When do I spend time with my loved ones? When do I spend time by myself? How do I plan to relax when it's time to? How do I optimise myself?

Allocating time for everything that's important to make sure nothing gets missed.

BREAK COMFORT ZONES

It might be something that stretches you at work. It might be something as simple as taking up a new hobby. When we learn something new it creates a new pathway within our mind and body. A new way to problem solve and maybe a new way to become more efficient. Think of it as carving a new track to walk down within your mind. Creating that enough times creates a whole new capability within ourselves.

EMBRACING WHAT WE KNOW

Human minds have that much storage capacity it's ridiculous. Only 5% of what we know we're consciously aware of. Which means 95% of what we know we're not aware of. So imagine the possibility of acting on what we know. Even if it's the 5% We're aware of. So what does it mean to embrace that of which you know?

It means to take action on what is known for a consistent period of time until it becomes an unconscious habit.

HOT TIP- PULL THE BOW BACK BEFORE THE ARROW IS RELEASED

Their is internal work and their is external work. One cannot be performed well without the other. So what does the metaphors mean?

It means to go further externally we need to be willing to go deeper internally.

BE A COOL HUMAN

Cool humans look after other cool humans.

So if you liked this email, take a moment to think of another cool human that would benefit from it and share it with them by forwarding this email.

Until next week, pull that damn arrow back and embrace what you know.
