Change Everything” Mode
Jan 13, 2026 2:23 am
Happy Monday, !
Every January, I watch people go into full-blown “change everything” mode…
They create new routines...
Make new rules...
And set completely new schedules.
But by February, most of them have slipped right back into old habits.
You probably already know that it’s impossible to keep up with too many changes at once.
And yet… a lot of us still like to try.
Here’s what actually works better:
Focused, intentional changes that target the BIG levers… the ones that move the needle.
Things like:
- Finding a class you actually enjoy and want to come back to
- Taking a quick walk after lunch
- Using your standing desk instead of sitting all day
- Drinking a glass of water before your morning coffee
- Going to bed 30 minutes earlier
- Learning to meal prep the right way
Individually, they might not feel like a big deal.
But when you focus on the right ones…
The ones that actually work for you… Everything changes.
👉 In fact, some habits give you disproportionate results because they’re tailored to your body, your routine, and your lifestyle.
So if you took on a little *too* much for your New Year goals…
Now might be a good time to check in and ask:
Did I take on too much at once?
If you did, the good news is that you don’t have to scrap your goals…
You just might need a smarter, more doable way to reach them...
Especially if you’re a busy individual over 40s balancing work, family, and hormone changes, looking to build real strength without crushing your schedule. Reply to this email with the word “READY.”
And I’ll send over a few high-impact ideas to help you move forward without the overwhelm.
Keep up the good work,
Coach Lu
