Happy Wednesday, !

Want something cozy?

But you also want to stay on track?

Here’s how you do both!

That’s exactly what this healthy holiday recipe upgrade does!

It still tastes like the classic homemade cocoa you grew up with, but it’s packed with the kind of nutrients that keep you satisfied instead of spiking your blood sugar (the worst part about drinking cocoa).

So whether you’re watching Elf for the 27th time or wrapping gifts late into the night, this mug of cocoa will keep you warm and support your goals.

Peppermint Protein Hot Cocoa

(serves 1)

  • 1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened oat milk
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop (about 30 g) of chocolate or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract
  • 1–2 tsp maple syrup or honey
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional topping: a spoonful of coconut whipped cream + a sprinkle of crushed peppermint candy for garnish (it’s the holidays, after all!)

Warm milk in a small saucepan until steaming (don’t boil).

Whisk in cocoa powder, protein powder, flax, peppermint extract, sweetener, and salt until smooth and creamy.

Pour into your favorite mug, add toppings, and sip away!

Staying healthy doesn’t mean missing out…

It just means making smart, feel-good swaps that actually work for you.

Enjoy 🤩

Keep up the good work,

Coach Lu
