The Growth Note | Personality Always Wins

Hey you,
This past weekend my family and my buddy Seth went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise. One afternoon out at sea, we were on the pool deck when the crew announced the infamous “World’s Sexiest Man” competition. , you're going to love this!
With hundreds of people watching, I convinced my brother and Seth to enter. And of course, I joined too.
The rounds were simple: push-ups, poses, flexes. Most guys followed the directions exactly. They did the push-ups, they posed, and they waited for applause.
I decided to do something different. I added personality into every round, from dancing to backflips. I played with the crowd. I made it fun.
And here’s the crazy part: I ended up winning. Not because I was the best looking. Not because I had the biggest muscles. But because personality always wins.
The same is true in communication and leadership. People don’t remember the person who just “does the steps.” They remember the one who shows up with energy, presence, and personality.
