Could he have existed before the train left? 🚂

Voice recognition mistake of the week: "The bride was delicious..."

Make that "bread" please! I'm not writing horror.

imageAlert: The Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series is currently available at all retailers. (Note the new covers.) However, I am considering moving them into Kindle Unlimited, which requires exclusivity for ebooks. Do you use KU? Would you borrow the books there?

If you don't get ebooks from Kindle, grab them now from your preferred retailer, in case they disappear – or buy directly from me here! You can get the first six ebooks as a complete set for just $14.99. See other buying options here. 😾 (They will still be available in print too.)

It snowed a few times recently in New Mexico. My husband actually had two snow days where he didn't have to go to work! Since I work from home, I didn't have that excuse. â˜č I'm still taking it easy getting over appendicitis and Covid, but trying to catch up on work and make progress on my current novel.image

imageWe are grateful that the most we've had to deal with weather-wise is a few weeks of moderate cold. My brother (with whom I wrote the Felony Melanie: Sweet Home Alabama romantic comedy novels) is in LA, where he's safe but dealing with smoke, soot, and grief. Pacific Palisades was one of his favorite hiking areas.

Not quite a voice recognition mistake of the week, from Someone Rotten Riding the Rails, where Kate and the gang infiltrate a Russian mob wedding on The Grand Canyon Scenic Railroad:

image“I haven’t seen Luca yet. The best man.”

“He got on with me,” Zoya said.

“Have you seen him since the train left the station?” the conductor asked. “Could he have exited before the train left?”

The grammar editor suggested I may have wanted existed instead of exited. Is there some railway-based philosophy where you don't exist until you've ridden a train?

imageLove in the Saddle by Britney M. Mills: “Holly Ashton thought the holidays back in Coldwater Creek would help her decide if she’s ready to hang up her hat—or take one last shot at barrel racing glory. Hunter McBride traded the fast-paced rodeo circuit for the steady rhythm of a woodworking shop. But seeing Holly again stirs up old feelings. As Holly and Hunter team up to bring holiday magic to the market, their connection deepens, but their dreams may pull them in opposite directions.
