We're in Arizona for Thanksgiving and our mother's birthday this week. At the time of this writing, the forecast is for mostly sunny to partly cloudy, with highs in the mid to low seventies. It's nice to spend the holidays where you can get out hiking every day! This is from two years ago, but we're staying at the same rental.

Kris is sad to report that she had to say goodbye to Bear Bear the ferret last week. He was seven, and his age was catching up with him. This pic is of Bear and Panda, forever loved.

Kris’s voice recognition mistake of the day, when emailing about what to eat on movie night: "Make your own nachos? We have to Q-tips, refried beans, shredded cheese ..." Er, make that tortilla chips, not Q-tips. 🤢

This is their cover (on the left). I don't like it as much as the original (on the right), and it's a little odd. Those saguaro cacti are way too skinny and all the same, with one image flipped. But it is eye-catching even at a small size. What do you think?
