This Facebook memory came up: “I picked up this nice chunk of crystals on our hike yesterday and Scott called it a murder rock. It would make a good weapon (at least in a book). We left it behind with all our fingerprints on it. Maybe that was a bad idea... 🤔”

Was that part of the inspiration for book 1 in my upcoming new series, Scry Murder? I don’t even remember! But the novel does involve a crystal cluster as a weapon… I'm expecting my editor's comments on book 1 by Monday!

Bear Bear the ferret got implants to treat adrenal disease.
