Kris’s voice recognition mistake of the day: “Do they plan to run the seminar with a sink and his videos?” 🤔 Sounds awkward, so maybe they’d use “asynchronous videos” instead.

Writers also have to be careful about using Find and Replace to make sure names are spelled consistently. For example, in Kris’s new mystery, Someone Rotten Riding the Rails, voice recognition sometimes spelled a character named Erik as Eric. Find and Replace took care of that – except where “He married an American” became “he married an AmErikan.” Oops! And that’s why we proofread.

Doug went to the Rose Parade Float Fest to see the floats up close this year and found it really interesting to see the fine workmanship up close. That ... yellow broccoli? seems to think people are getting a little TOO close.

In New Mexico, Kris got a nice long cuddle with Bear Bear the ferret. 😴
