What's a chicken doing at the Cat Café? 🐔😺

Voice recognition mistake of the day: “Chicken throat and ignored the bizarre urge to fluff her hair.” (She cleared her throat ...)

That was from drafting Pride and Prejudice at the Cat Café. The book (number 7 in the series) is finished, but I'm still waiting on revisions for the cover art.

imageHere's what the artist sent me first (on right). I pointed out that these characters look too much like the characters on Coffee and Crushes at the Cat Café. It's a series, but not with the same leads in each book!

Ugh, waiting on the revisions is a drag. 😾 Gimme now!

Visit the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series on Amazon US or Amazon UK or see the series with links to all retailers.

It’s felt like spring in New Mexico – in other words, warm, chilly, cloudy, sunny, and on occasion incredibly windy. One of my friends saw "a flying, smiling crocodile" in the clouds here. Can you spot it? I often see figures in the clouds, but that one might be beyond my imagination.

Not sure which book should get your vote? You can vote for Something Shady at Sunshine Haven, book 1 in the Accidental Detective humorous mystery series: a witty journalist solves mysteries in Arizona and tackles the challenges of turning fifty. (I don’t get a prize if I win, but it’s nice to be liked.☺)

This picture of ferrets Bear Bear and Panda popped up in my Facebook memories. Does that look like a hug or a chokehold?
