Bear Bear's shows off his yogiferret pose "toes to nose"

May 12, 2023 11:56 pm

My goal today: see how many things I can drop, knock off the counter, or spill on myself. I didn't start out with this goal, but at this point I'm just going to go with it.

Voice recognition mistake of the day: “the nude material from the end of the book.” Is VR trying to hint that I need to make my novels sexier? I guess “nude material” could call more attention than “new material.”

imageStill sweet: The Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series features the workers and customers at a small-town cat café, and the adorable cats and kittens looking for their forever homes. Each book is a complete story with a happy ending for one couple (and maybe more than one rescued cat). Visit the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series or Amazon UK.

Bear Bear seems to be adjusting to life as an only ferret. The extra cuddles might help. They help us anyway.

imageI'm working on book 6 of the Accidental Detective series, which will be set on a train! My husband and I took the Grand Canyon Scenic Railway from Williams, Arizona to the Grand Canyon last fall for research. If you do it as a day trip, the train stops for three hours so you can get out and see the Canyon. It's a rough life being a writer. 😁

(Learn about the Accidental Detective series and find links to all retailers. The first four books are out now.)

Bonus voice recognition mistakes. "When I lick the Emails button" is just weird. "Condolences on the death and your family" might be considered a

bit rude, although maybe appropriate for some families!

Bear Bear shows off his yogiferret pose "toes to forehead." (In the subject line you'll see I called it "toes to nose" because my email program tells me "forehead" is a spammy word! 😲)
