🍪 Cookies in the hot buttered room! 😺
Dec 11, 2020 10:38 pm
Voice recognition mistake of the day, regarding the making of hot buttered rum: "I wouldn't go too heavy on the clothes."
(I changed that to 'cloves' before I actually sent the text. Voice recognition also likes to change “room” to “rum,” so I might get a “hot buttered room.”)

“Besides the blooming romance between the 2 main characters, I found CHRISTMAS COOKIES also a quiet reflection of life choices, lifestyles, beliefs, the changing of life’s paths and celebrating the possibilities of new beginnings.” - reader 2shrdvrs on BookBub
Nature photo: I found this rock with an interesting inclusion. I first decided it was a dodo, facing left and raising its wings. Below, I’ll post what some Facebook friends saw. But first, what do you see?
Others said:
A ghost warrior riding an elephant to battle.
I see an elephant with two creatures on his back
I see an upright bull raising his (left) fist.
I see a chicken facing right, feathers up on left, possibly crowing about a recent egg lay.😉
I see a big guy throwing a rock.
I see a squirrel facing right, its tail in the air.
Jester hat.
First I saw a map of Michigan and then a squirrel.
A resolute pig's head with it’s ear flying back facing to the right.
I see Shrek with his right arm poised for a punch and the left arm ready to deliver the punch with an unidentifiable large object. Just look at his ears!
I see a dinosaur hatching.
How can nobody else see a Canadian Mounty riding an elephant?
A skunk, facing right, with tail upright but relaxed.
But wait, there's more, if you show it the other way around!
Rhinoceros that maybe just ran into a tree...
(The rock as a whole) is a white dog head, with a pointy purple snout and a purple, flappy ear. Or a panda.
Isn't nature - and human imagination - great?
Cute of the day: If you don't put up a tree because of pets, the real answer is to design your Christmas tree especially for our fuzzy little overlords! Don't do Christmas? You'll probably want one of these anyway.
Ferret photo - Bear Bear is such a sweetie!
