Cat cafes in the news 😻 plus booksbooksbooks!

A Cat Café TV show?!? - Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) stars as Kat, “a 39-year-old woman who struggles every day against society and her mother to prove that you can NOT have everything you want — and still be happy ... Which is why she spent her life savings to open a Cat Café in Louisville, Kentucky.” I’m certainly looking forward to this one starting in January, on Fox!
I hope you are having a good week, with some tasty food and connections with family or friends, however you can make that happen. “Black Friday” is also going to be different this year, especially for those of us in lockdown locations. I sent my mother some teas and shortbread from Harney & Sons for her 81st birthday this weekend.
If you're online shopping, books make a great gift – for yourself or others! If you know cat and romance lovers, consider the Cat Café Collection, the first three books in the series. (e-book $7.99; print $14.99). To send someone an e-book from Amazon, look at the righthand side of the page for the “buy for others” button. See the 3-book Collection here or visit the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series page for the individual books.
If you haven't yet gotten your copy of the free 35-page novella, Lions and Love at the Cat Café, you can get it here. For “13 of the recipes mentioned in Kris Bock's Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series,” go here. These cookies and other baked goodies are perfect for the holiday season!

The Ferrets, Bear and Panda
Me: Here's a clean litter box.
Bear: Ooh, dig box!
Me: Litter box, not dig box. Do not dig.
Bear: Dig! 😁
Panda: Ha! For once I'm not the one getting in trouble.
Cute of the day: Shelter Helps Older Dogs Get Adopted By Dressing Them Up As “Senior Petizens”: To combat the growing number of older dogs staying in the shelter for long periods of time, the Florida-based Flager Humane Society dressed up dogs up “senior petizens.” The caretakers put glasses, scarves, ties, wigs, and more on their older dogs and do photoshoots with them.
Wacky Laws: In the state of Illinois, your pet animal can be sent to jail. A monkey once served 5 days in a Chicago jail for shoplifting.
Voice recognition mistake of the day: Any reason you need a particular sin? (that was supposed to be "Any reason you need it particularly soon?")
