Voice recognition mistake of the day: My mom asked by e-mail if I wanted an apple crumb or a fresh peach pie for my birthday.
I intended to respond "peach," but voice recognition came up with "each" – which I must admit is a better response. 🥧
It's been a very hot summer in New Mexico. Last Saturday some friends and I headed out to the "town" of Datil (one restaurant/store/gas station combo) to have lunch at the restaurant with very good local beef. Then we hiked up at 7500 feet where it was a little cooler. This scene of the Very Large Array is from the drive out that way.
