You put your right paw out đŸŸ

Voice recognition mistake of the day: “It’s not real money out right now, but rubber boots will keep off the dirt and all.” Er, muddy, not money!

imageI wish there was real money out! It would make it worthwhile to brave the intense heat—100 degrees and up for weeks here in New Mexico. To tolerate hiking, I had to head up to 10,000 feet where it was only in the 80s. Nice views up there!

imageThat VR mistake was from the Accidental Billionaire Cowboys sweet romance series. Book 4, A Baby for the Billionaire Cowboy, comes out August 7 and is up for preorder now. It features brother number 4, Xander. BookBub reviewers say:

“I was hooked from the start. This book series just keeps getting better.”

“This was an amazing read from the moment Daisy and Xander first meet, and during their slow building romance till the heartwarming ending.”

The Cattery 2023 Sweepstakes is here!đŸ˜» Prizes are Amazon Gift Cards from $75-$500. The Cattery is a cage-free cat shelter in Corpus Christi, TX. Get sweepstakes tickets here.

imageAnd if you’re a cat lover, have you read all six (so far) of the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series? They feature the workers and customers at a small-town cat cafĂ©, and the adorable cats and kittens looking for their forever homes. Each book is a complete story with a happy ending for one couple (and maybe more than one rescued cat). Visit the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series or Amazon UK.

imageA real-life Kate? In the Accidental Detective humorous mystery series, a witty journalist returns to Arizona after an injury and turns her skills to solving mysteries. Kate’s journalist career might have been something like this woman’s:

No Ordinary Assignment: A Memoir by Jane Ferguson: “Without family wealth or connections, she began as a scrappy one-woman reporting team, a borrowed camera often her only equipment. Networks told her she had the wrong accent, the wrong appearance, not enough “bang-bang shoot-‘em-up.” Still, Ferguson threw herself into harm’s way time and again, determined to give voice to civilian experiences of war. In the face of grave violence and suffering, this seemed a small act of justice, no matter the risks.”
