I went up in a small plane today … for research. Really! I’m working on a cowboy romance where the hero is a crop duster. Writing is such a tough job. I’m in the back seat, so I didn’t have to fly. It was a ‘relatively smooth’ day, so I only got moderately queasy.
Voice recognition mistake of the day, from my work-in-progress cowboy book: “She can get room and board at the ranch and a small celery.” Personally, I dislike celery, so small is better - but I'd rather have a salary.
