Voice recognition mistake of the week: “Thank you for donating the past that I want.” My past is fine, thank you very much. I was trying to say, “for donating the pass that I won.”

imageCover Reveal! This is the cover for book 1 in my upcoming Reluctant Psychic mystery series: a quirky loner who can read the history of any object with her touch gets drawn into mysteries when people bring troubled artifacts to the museum of oddities where she works. A Stone Cold Murder is set to release April 28.

In the meantime, if you’re a mystery fan, are you caught up on The Accidental Detective humorous mystery series (6 books to date, 2 more coming eventually)?

imageI did a thing! I’ve had my hair shoulder length or longer for the last decade. Cutting it short in January when temperatures are so low was maybe not the best idea, but I’ve been thinking about it for a while.

Thought of the day: You know you’re getting old when a friend your age says, “I had an amazing night last night!”

... And then goes on to tell you how they slept 8 hours straight through...

AND you are jealous!
