Did you try the cloud bread from last week's recipe?

Summer is the travel time.

Here are some cooler-friendly foods that you can carry with you.

  1. Water - use a hydro flask, Contigo, or similar to keep where you cannot carry a cooler with ice. I use it when flying and traveling in a car. It can hold hot drinks hot or cold drinks cool for many hours. I love these to carry coffee and tea while we go on long trips
  2. Meat sticks and jerky - Meat sticks ( my favorites - 100 percent beef sticks, Zero sugar beef jerky ) that are zero carbs are a great way to have it in the cooler - Guess what you can carry it on the flight.
  3. Washed and cut vegetables - You prepare them or get it pre-cut from the grocery store. We did this on a recent camping trip and it was the best decision as things were very expensive at the visitor center store.
  4. Cheese sticks - If you like cheese you could carry cheese sticks or any cheese in the cooler

Tips to pack cooler - Tips for Packing a Cooler

Layering: Place the heavier items like drinks at the bottom and lighter items on top. This helps avoid squishing your food.

Ice Packs: Ice packs or frozen water bottles keep the cooler cold. Place them around the food for even cooling.

Watertight Containers: Pack foods in watertight containers to prevent them from getting soggy.

Pre-Chill Items: Make sure all items are chilled before placing them in the cooler. This helps maintain the cooler's temperature.

Have a great rest of the summer. Keep hydrated!

To your health and well-being,

Jessy.
