As the weather gets cooler, teas can be very comforting.
Have you tried Spiced Green Tea before?
This tea includes 2 of my favorite spices - turmeric and cinnamon, which many of us have at home. Turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory because of its antioxidants, and cinnamon can help regulate blood sugar levels.
Ingredients
- 1 green tea bag
- 1/4 tsp organic turmeric
- 1/4 tsp organic cinnamon
- 8 oz boiling water
Directions
- Place the tea bag in a mug (try this hydro flask).
- Add turmeric and cinnamon.
- Pour in hot water and allow to steep for approximately 2 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag and stir thoroughly to dissolve the spices.
Using a hydro flask like this can keep the tea warm without reheating. If you like this tea please reply and let me know.
