Every day, your brain makes thousands of choices.
What to eat.
When to work out.
Whether to check your phone or stay focused.
What to cookโฆ or whether to order takeout.
And the more decisions you have to make (even tiny ones)...
The harder it gets to follow through on anything.
Thatโs why by 4 PM, so many people feel like their willpower is nonexistent.
Your brainโs just tired!
Hereโs what I tell my clients when they hit that wall:
๐ Set yourself up to make fewer decisions!
Hereโs how to start:
โ Pick your โdefault mealsโ for the week.
Same 2โ3 breakfasts and lunches on rotation = less thinking = more follow-through.
โ Simplify your workouts.
Choose one go-to option for busy days (like a 20-minute walk after dinner).
โ Batch the small stuff ahead of time.
Set out your clothes. Pre-log meals. Meal prep while you can.
Every little decision you make in advanceโฆ
Is one less youโll have to make when your brainโs running on fumes.
The more predictable your routine gets, the easier it is to stick with!
