Happy Tuesday, !

You probably donโ€™t need another reason to take a vacationโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜‰

But as it turns out, vacations are seriously good for your health!

And did you know that almost half of all Americans donโ€™t use up all their paid time off every year!?

Here are just a few reasons to book your next breakโ€ฆ

Taking vacations is linked with a lower risk of high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and metabolic syndrome โ€” which are all related to heart disease

ANDโ€ฆ during vacations, weโ€™re more active, get more sleep, and have less stress โ€” all of which are tied to better health!

In other studies, active outdoor vacations (like hiking or camping) that last at least a week offer the best health payoffs, but shorter vacations still give you plenty of benefits.

And hereโ€™s a biggie: taking fewer, shorter vacations is better for your health than taking only one big vacation a year, even if it means taking occasional long weekends instead of a full-blown week off.

Of course, youโ€™ll get even MORE benefits from your time off if you stick with your healthy habits while youโ€™re there: being active, eating healthy whole foods, etc.

It just goes to show you that a well-rounded approach is BEST when it comes to reaching your health and fitness goals.

Committed to your success,

Coach Lu
