“OMG, I missed my workout. Now what?!”
Here’s the answer:
👉 You do a workout. Ta da! You’re back on track.
That’s it. No guilt… No self-recrimination… No starting over Monday.
Missing a day (or even a week) doesn’t erase your progress. The only way to really mess it up is by letting a little slip-up convince you to quit altogether.
So here’s your game plan:
✅ Take a breath. Missing occasional workouts is normal. It happens to everyone.
✅ Start small. Don’t try to make up for lost time with a marathon session. Just do your next planned workout, or even a quick 15–20 minute one.
✅ Refocus on consistency. Progress comes from showing up again and again, not from being perfect.
💡 I always tell my clients:
You’re only one workout (or one healthy meal) away from being back in your routine.
So if you’ve missed a workout (or several)… consider this your invitation to jump back in today.
Even a short strength session or a walk around the block will help get the momentum going again.
