Did you add a few pounds on your summer vacation? It happens to many of us.

Let's talk about getting back on track. No extreme workouts or crash diets needed.

Most people I work with want a simple, sustainable plan. They focus on strength, flexibility, and avoiding pain. These basics help them look better, feel more confident, and ditch negative thinking.

Here's a quick guide to help:

1. Build strength. The stronger you are, the more fat you burn. Science backs this up. Strength training also helps prevent injuries.

2. Eat enough protein. It keeps you full and burns more calories during digestion. Use your hand to measure: 2 palm-sized portions per meal for men, 1 for women. Spread it out over the day.

3. Don't starve yourself. "Move more, eat less" isn't the whole story. Very low-calorie diets can slow your metabolism. Focus on whole, unprocessed foods with fiber. You'll feel fuller and control calories naturally.

4. Find an accountability partner. Tell someone about your goals. Research shows this increases your chances of success. A friend, family member, or social media followers can help keep you on track.

These simple steps can help those vacation pounds disappear. Which one seems easiest for you to start with?

Stay strong and keep up the good work,
