Got a few uncommon tips for you today thatโ€™ll help you save time and moneyโ€ฆ AND not let food go to waste!


๐Ÿฅฌ 1. Freeze your greens for smoothies:


โœ”๏ธ Wash and dry your greens

โœ”๏ธ Spread on a baking sheet and freezer for a couple of hours

โœ”๏ธ Transfer to freezer bags (remove air from the bag)

โœ”๏ธ Pop them in the freezer until itโ€™s time for your smoothie!


๐Ÿซ’ 2. Store herbs in olive oil:


โœ”๏ธWash them, chop them, put them in an ice cube tray, and cover them with oil

โœ”๏ธ Freeze. After itโ€™s frozen through, place โ€œcubesโ€ in a labeled freezer bag

โœ”๏ธ Next time you need a flavor boost while youโ€™re cooking, just drop in a cube!


๐Ÿš 3. Batch cook grains:


โœ”๏ธAs soon as you get home from grocery shopping, cook up a pot of quinoa, farro, or other healthy carb.

โœ”๏ธ Store in the fridge for easy, quick additions to meals during the week.
