The Quiet Shame Behind Impostor Syndrome

Oct 31, 2025 6:27 am

Hey ,

Suppose the voice that says “I’m not enough” is lying to you?

You’ve achieved so much ,— yet part of you keeps waiting to be “found out.”

Nope! It isn't modesty. That’s the echo of an old belief: I’m flawed, unworthy, defective.

This quiet shame runs deep. It can make you shrink, hide, overwork, or seek constant approval.

But listen here:

That voice isn’t your intuition.

It’s your wound.

Healing means remembering who you were before shame taught you to doubt yourself. And reclaiming that version — strong, whole, and quietly radiant.

YES ! That's who you are.

I want you to think about (and journal) these questions:

Journal Reflections

  1. When do I feel the strongest pull to prove myself — and what fear might be hiding underneath?
  2. What would my life look like if I no longer believed I had to “earn” my worth?
  3. How do I speak to myself when I succeed — with celebration or with doubt?

When you are through, share your reflections with me.

With gentleness and grace,
