Resistance

Hey, hey, hey !

How were your holidays? Have you settled back into the groove of work yet, or you like me, still resisting the back to work vibe?

One of the things that happens over holidays and friends and families gather, especially family members, is that old wounds are reopened, stories are told, and we are made to feel small. In turn we lash out, react defensively or become resentful to comments or situations. Hey! It goes with the territory of being human.

But here’s the truth, you cannot control what others think or say about you. Also, you cannot turn back the hands of time and change the past.

What you can control, is your reaction to the things said or done in the past, present and future. A great way of doing this is by forgiving. Now, I’m not saying that forgiveness is easy. In fact, I think quite the opposite. I think forgiveness requires great strength. But I also think is it essential for our mental health. So, I developed a short course on Navigating the Challenges of Forgiveness.

Check it out here…https://drhtheconfidencebuilder.com/navigating-the-challenge-of-forgiveness-sp/

and if you know again who is in desperate need of forgiveness please share this link with them.
