The twists of life

Hey ,
Let me tell you something I probably shouldn’t.
The drive up to LF Jungle Retreat is not for the faint of heart.
It’s… a little wild.
Twisting. Narrow. A bit like life. OK, Yes. We could say that about the road from Stony Hill, through Junction as well LOL.
So, once you get into Port Antonio, drive through the town. You are heading towards San San. You’ll see a small sign on the right-hand side of the main road—subtle, almost like it’s whispering
This way to your becoming.
You’ll turn up the hill.
And then…
you’ll climb.
And yes—there’s construction.
They're building retaining walls right now, shoring up the mountainside.
It’s a reminder that even the land here is preparing to hold you.
You’ll feel your heart pound a little harder as the car climbs,
as the jungle wraps tighter around you,
the road shifts beneath your wheels and the mountain rises to your left, while a sharp drop yawns to your right.
A chain-link fence hugs the edge, holding you safe, even as your breath catches.
The sky never leaves you—it stays wide and watching, like a witness to your bravery.
You might even wonder,
“Where am I going?”
“What did I sign up for?”
And I want to tell you right now:
That’s exactly what transformation feels like at first.
It’s the unfamiliar road.
The brave climb.
The moment when turning back seems safer than pressing forward.
But then—
just when the doubt creeps in—
the trees part, and the light rushes in.
You arrive.
And it is breathtaking.
A hillside haven wrapped in green, kissed by river mist and mountain air.
Birdsong echoes. Ginger lilies, begonias, and palm trees welcome you home... to your Soul Story.
And in the distance, you glimpse the sea… quiet, constant, waiting.
I visited the space again yesterday. But what brought a smile to my face wasn’t just the view—
it was the VIP observation deck.
That’s where we’ll begin.
Up high, above it all.
Surrounded by open sky and soft breeze.
A sacred overlook where the air itself feels thin with magic.
This is your threshold.
You’ll sit in circle there for the first time.
You’ll speak your name out loud, maybe even tremble as you do.
And the sky will hold you,
the wind will carry you,
and we—your retreat family—will witness you. Fully.
You made it. Not just to the top of the hill. But to the edge of your old life.
And from here, everything opens.
