The Fear No One Talks About (And How to Rise Above It)
Mar 02, 2026 1:01 pm
There is a particular kind of fear that lives quietly in the bodies of people who have known trauma. have you ever felt it, ?
It follows them into meetings, conversations, even casual exchanges.
It is the fear of conflict—not shouting or chaos, but the fear of being challenged, misunderstood, or dismissed.
Again.
For many of us, this fear didn't begin at work. It began in homes where love felt conditional, in classrooms where speaking up led to embarrassment, in relationships where honesty carried consequences. In spaces—physical, emotional, spiritual, educational, sexual —where we were harmed.
This fear isn't part of your personality. It is learnt conditioning. ...And conditioning can be unlearned.
The truth I want you to breathe into your bones is that: Your voice is not a threat. It is an offering. A contribution to the world you are shaping.
You and I both know that Silence comes with a cost—it steals agency, presence, and power. And the rooms you walk into cannot benefit from wisdom you never share.
So , may I share three small practices to carry into your week?
Breathe first. A 3-second breath calms the survival brain before you respond.
Ask instead of retreat."Can you help me understand what you mean?" keeps you in the conversation.
Replace the inner critic."I am allowed to take up space. My voice matters here. This is not the past."
, you are ready for a new chapter of your power.
Your voice is needed. You are needed.
With warmth,
