A little about me (and why I do this work)

Dear ,
The shame tells you it was your fault. The fear whispers you'll never be safe again. The isolation convinces you that no one could possibly understand.
If those voices feel familiar, I want you to know: you are not alone.
Maybe you’ve tried to put the past behind you.
Maybe you’ve told yourself to “just move on.”
But the memories still echo… and healing feels so far away.
For years, I’ve walked beside people who have carried the silent, heavy weight of trauma. And I know how much courage it takes to even read these words.
This work — helping survivors reclaim themselves after sexual trauma — isn’t just my profession.
I used to say this work was my job until my clients helped me realize it isn’t.
This is my vocation.
My calling.
It’s who I am.
It’s deeply personal. It comes from my own journey, the brave souls I’ve sat with, and a steadfast belief that transformation is possible, even after the hardest things.
For over 15 years, I've served as an educator, leader, and retreat facilitator, creating containers for healing and transformation. I understand what it takes to hold space for the most vulnerable parts of the human experience.
If you’d like, I’d be honoured to share a little of my story with you:
There’s no rush. No pressure.
Just a quiet invitation — from someone who sees you and believes in your healing.
With care,
Dr Sandra Hamilton
