We're still alive. But it's smokey as heck here.

Dear humans,

We woke up to the alarm this morning to pre-dawn apocalyptic skies. We have filed this under the "not good" category.

As such, everybody is sheltering away from the evil smoke and avoiding going outside. The female now feels qualified to write an apocalyptic novel about the world burning down.

Yes, the Blain household is fine. We're just surrounded by smoke and fire. We are cool cats, and we STILL haven't unpacked Dipshit of the camping stuff. For the most part. The cast iron pans came in so the female could use them as she desires. She loves her cast iron pans.

It's a little too hard to be funny today, as the female is having a somewhat severe tendonitis flare, and until COVID is over (or at least significantly better than it is now where she lives) physical therapy (which is needed) is not realistic.

Let's just go with "ouch."

Anyway, here's some general relevant news:

Flame Game was pushed to November 24, 2020. Wild Wolf was pushed to January 19 2021. Outfoxed is progressing nicely. It releases on November 3, 2020. The Fox Witch World books are more in line with the Witch & Wolf world stories, although the world and themes are significantly different. It shares some world building concepts with Booked for Murder, but a vastly different presentation of those concepts. (Slavery is a legal thing in the outfoxed world, and unlike the Booked for Murder for life contracts, those caught in the slave system do not necessarily get a choice in the matter.)

It's dressed up somewhat nicely to make characters go along with it, for the most part. Anyway, it's a fun concept. (And has nothing to do with the female's personal beliefs, so please remind yourselves of that. She asked herself a 'what if' question, and she is toying with the answers in the book. This is a speculative fiction novel, not a guide book to the female's personal beliefs.)

Anyway, no pictures today. Everybody is hiding because of the smoke.

Have a great day, folks!
