License to Kill is out in the wilds!

Dear humans,

(A word from the human here: I am under one more hard deadline, I'm exhausted, and I just don't have the umph to be, well, funny in this mailer. I need to get back to work, do the work-type things, and make sure Wild Wolf is ready for its release. Sorry. I hope you all have a wonderful holidays.)

License to Kill is out in the wilds! You can acquire your copy at your favorite vendors, but here's the link to Amazon, since that's what most people request. (The female is on the last of her deadlines, so we're chopping so she dodges having her head chopped. Or something like that.)

Warning: This is not a light or fluffy or funny book. It deals heavily on the realities of familial abuse and toxicity, and it is ultimately a redemption story, and redemption stories, by their very nature, involve characters you love doing things you regret--and that they regret.

Redemption does not mean perfection.

Expect to walk away possibly angry, maybe in rage tears, possibly ugly crying.

Hint: the series absolutely will have a happily ever after, but if you can't handle books that go for the throat, this one is not for you right now.

Murder Mittens, coming out on the 25th, is going to be the book that is for you. (Yes, these books are polar opposites in tone, and I released them so close together on purpose because of that.)

Here is the description:

Being the mate of Jake Thomas isn’t what Karma expected. He wants to keep her safe. She wants to find out the truth behind the kidnapping of baby Annabelle Greenwich, the case that had resulted in their marriage.

The truth can only be found in murky waters, and with a betrayer in their midsts, Karma is forced to choose between the man she loves and justice.

In order to untangle the web of lies destroying her life, Karma partners with a rogue wolf who faces execution should she be caught by the Inquisition. On the run from the authorities, her mate, and those who would kill her to protect their secrets, Karma has one chance to discover the truth before her former allies and mate are forced to make use of their license to kill.

Have fun, and don't say we didn't warn you.

P.S.: The female is totally expecting this to be her lowest rated book ever, and she's okay with this.

A lot of people just will not like it because it's not funny, it's not happy, and it involves tough subject matter that will inevitably offend.

She's not sorry for writing it.

And yes... familial toxicity can be this bad, yes, this type of scenario is absolutely commonplace, and no... that doesn't make anything that happens in this book right.

Happy reading, and a happy holidays to all!

End note: it's really okay if you hate the book. It's not an easy book. It was not supposed to be an easy book.
