Dear humans,

Today, the female is fleeing her comfort zone and doing a very brief interview over at Chat and Spin radio. It's a British thing, and they do late-night international author broadcasts, which is pretty nifty. Honestly, we have no idea what to expect, but we're going to show up at the appropriate time and answer questions from the host. It should be fun. But brief.

She will be panicking, of course. That is what she does.

In other news, the water is broken in the building. We have a trickle of cold water, and the hot water tank/boiler cannot keep up with a whole building wanting *some* water instead of our current "You must wait 20 minutes for the toilet tank to fill" level of water pressure we are now 'enjoying.'

Right.

There is no tea on this planet strong enough for that nonsense, so the female is having coffee.

Bookbub featured Whatever for Hire today! We're thrilled. Going into day two of the sales drive, the female is somewhat hopeful she'll actually be able to make this listing thing work.

She really wants it.

By the end of the day, she is hoping to be at least halfway there. If she hits 3,000 sales between today and yesterday, she will cling to tenacious life with her ads and keep a hoping she can make the entire week's run work.

Don't ask about the money. The money is scary. The money is very scary. Money is scary. Wheeee.

And now the female is going to hide under the bed until 2 Pacific, which is when she starts prepping for her radio interview doohickey. Meep meep.

Ten minutes of talking to someone on the phone counts as two weeks' of socialization, right? Right?

... we're sorry there is no picture today. The female is claiming we ate her phone. (It's right on your desk in front of you, Female. We are not stupid. You're lazy and insist on monitoring ads because it is morning and ads did things without you for eight whole hours.)
