Long time no chat, humans!

We've been... busy. More accurately, the female has had a week-long migraine. She's also just done with the current social atmosphere, and is tired of a great many things. She thought long and hard about quitting this week, because it's essentially impossible to write anything without someone's fragile feelings being hurt.

And once those fragile feelings are hurt, they have to tell everyone about it, especially her. They tend to do it in reviews, too.

The female is tired of people assuming what her morality is based on what she's written. She writes things she doesn't necessarily agree with all of the time. She writes fiction. That is the point.

The female is tired of hurting fragile feelings and being yelled at over it.

The female is very tired of the constant, relentless pressure. We know the readers mean well, but there comes a point where she's not even allowed to feel tired without people telling her why she shouldn't feel tired.

She's tired. Let her be tired.

There are no new pictures lately, as migraine brain is not a friendly brain, so the female hasn't been using her phone much. She did manage to mostly clean her desk today, which is progress.

She lost her main SIMs 4 game. There is a load error on the save file. She backed it up and started again, which is disappointing. She'd played through three full households, and was well on her way to finishing household #4. Right now, she is playing a vampire archaeologist who is yet to start the actual archaeology. Go figure.

Booked for Murder is almost done, and should be to the editor end of day of the 1st. Huntress has a Bookbub Featured Deal tomorrow for US customers. There's a UK/AU/CA deal for The Run Around on the 2nd.

We'll try to do better to keep you more in the loop, but the female is very tired right now.

But now, she goes to write, because the deadlines are immovable.
