We are in the trenches today. Yes, it's Monday. (April 20, 2020, for those of you stuck in the month of Mapray.)

Dear humans,

The female should be receiving three vessels for the future carcasses of her failed planting attempts. Yeah. She has more issues than we know how to deal with, but we try to provide her with therapy. She purchased 2 mango papaya bath bombs yesterday. She claims submerging in water is 'self-care.' We claim it is failed attempted murders of herself and any felines unfortunate enough to get near that wet crap.

Dumb humans, doing things they shouldn't be doing, like getting wet.

Much to the female's delight, she is up to almost 400 recipients of letters, cards, and post cards! If you know anyone who might enjoy a card, postcard, etc, please share that link with them. Everyone is welcome. (We will not discuss how many stamps the female has purchased recently.)

P.S.: We are gonna need more stamps! Hooray!

This letter will be super brief, as the female must return to proofreading Grave Humor, which needs to be finished and ready for the betas by the end of the day. For this reason, there are no pictures. The female is freaking because she has much to do and little time to do it in.

If you would like to go on a mini quest to help the female attempt to reach USA Today with Grave Humor, you can take up one of the following missions:

1: Recommend Whatever for Hire at Bookbub or Goodreads. Include in your review or recommendation you're looking forward to Grave Humor, which has Satin in it! (Satin's back, Satin's back, Satin's back!)

2: Follow R.J. Blain on Bookbub, Amazon, and Goodreads. Shelve any and all books you want and show rating love. (The ratings help a lot because it makes it look like the female actually writes good books.)

If you have taken up a quest and you haven't filled out the reward form already, please do so! If you can't remember if you filled out the form, go ahead and fill it out again. :)

There is an additional quest for authors out there if they share Grave Humor with their audience, too. Details can be found here. The female is doing her best to keep an eye on authors she knows who shared but didn't fill out a form, and she'll be seeding their books into the book fair as well.

And she'll also be seeding in books that she just loves and feels should get additional attention. The book fair will be fun. There will be much snark.

Have a good day, humans. The female must work now.
