Last month, I reached out with a survey, seeking to understand more about you, your dreams, self-perception, passions, aspirations, fears, and challenges.
First off, a big thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.
Your responses have been nothing short of illuminating.
As I predicted, your responses have shown that a one-size-fits-all approach to content creation, educational resources, or marketing strategies may not be as effective.
In going through your answers, I've had to revisit and reevaluate many plans I had in motion.
Some of what I found from your responses:
- For example, 69% of you said you prefer I increase my emails to once a week - and that was surprising for me. Really because I had set my cadence for 2 weeks.
- We have three distinct clusters among us, each with learning preferences and perspectives. Whether you see yourself as a jack of all trades, an in-betweener, or a specialist, there will be something for you.
Here's what I'm referring to. I've put this visual together to share a summary of the survey with you.
- Most people identify as coaches and/or consultants, followed by creators and educators, matching those who have a job and want to make extra income. Only 8% said they're small business owners.
So you can see, I'm really learning a lot about who my market is or are.
After a brief break from work last week, I'm back with renewed vigour.
I'm back at my drawing board, working on something special - something beyond this newsletter.
I know that not everyone has the time and bandwidth to read, digest and comment, so I’m looking to share the new draft of an email course I’m working on with 5 to 11 beta readers.
