Happy today ,
It's another year gone, can you believe it? We get to look forward to another silly season (as I affectionately term it).
If you're like me, you'll be huddled down under a blanket with a Kindle and whiteknuckling it until January!
But it's also a time of year where everyone is encouraged to think about family. (Not sure why we shouldn't be thinking of family every other time of the year, but that's for greater minds to wonder).
I know I'll be spending my time with my 26 favourite people, the letters on my keyboard. Can't slow down now!
What big plans do you have?
I'm tackling some of my TBR's. I have some Eric Lustbader thrillers, yet more Stephen King (I know), a Naoki Urasawa manga and Brian Jacques' Redwall. I think of it as stoking the fire for next year's output.
Now, I didn't want you to feel left out. And I'm told this is the season of giving. (But I don't need a season for that neither). I've got plenty of material lined up to keep your Kindle busy. So dust it off and get ready to hit that download button.
And special shout out to -
That's a little to keep you going! I kid of course, as too much is the same as not enough. (Star Points if you know who said that. (What are star points and how do I use them? I don't know)).
What are you reading over the silly season and who with? Revisiting a classic? Or embellishing the dare of trying something new.
Have a great read!
