Hi ,
This last week has been crazy!
You know the feeling, start with item one on the to-do list and before you know it, it's weekend!
Where'd the time go?!
Launch week for A Pale Winter has come to a close, but there's still time to grab it at the special discounted price, along with a bundle of four other books! Amazon has the best stuff.
A Pale Winter introducies us to some strange, new characters. And the ending! It was a suprise for me writing it, I can't imagine what it's like to read for the first time. What did you think?
Endings are some of the hardest things to get right. They need the right balance to deliver carthatic satisfaction, and surprise to the reader. One of my favourites, and most controversial, is the Dark Tower. Stephen King ended his magnum opus the same way he wrote it, with bold choices!
What's the ending that you can't forget? Or are you like me and prefer the journey to the destination?
I've got a couple of books here you can check out and let me know what you think of their endings. And if you're unsure whether you'll like A Pale Winter, you can check out the sample here:
And some shout-outs to some pen wizards -
I'll drop by soon. Reply to this email to let me know some of your favourite endings. What are you reading this week?
Have a great read!
