Sprucing up your self talk!

Hi ,


How is your self- talk?


That internal dialogue you have with yourself.


Your inner critic.


Why should you care?


Because your self talk is important in how well you live.


If it is negative and keeps going in replay unstopped or unbridled it can actually cause you to miss out BIG TIME on life.

It is why I encourage you to practice these few tips to keep yours helpful to you:


  1. Speak positivity out loud even if you don't believe what you are saying
  2. Talk to yourself like you would a friend. This will help you avoid sounding like your worst enemy.
  3. Replace bad thought with good ones. Literally.
  4. Remember intentionally the good things that has has happened in your past and the challenges you've overcome... draw strength from that.
  5. Remember that thoughts and feelings aren't always reality.
  6. Mind what you listen to and give your attention to; they contribute BIG TIME to your thoughts. Listen to or read things that encourage or empower you.  

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things" Phil 4:8
