I thought to share this thought with you!

In the past few years I have re-discovered one of the lessons in one of my favorite Bible verses.

I bet many of us have heard it before.

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Another version says, “You must love your friend in the same way you love yourself" Matthew 22:29 TPT.

The lesson you ask?

Learning how to love your self is important in your ability to love others.

It is not a selfish or “me always first” love or an “always-self serving” love

It is a self-inclusive love.

Such that as you tell others the importance of rest, you practice the same.

As you forgive others, you also forgive yourself.

As you tend to others, your put yourself on the list as someone to be tended to.

It is wisdom.

So here’s to love that includes you!
